Maybourne is excited to offer a career development opportunity for an internal team member to transition into the role of Platform & DevOps Engineer within our growing Digital department.
As part of our digital transformation program and our transition to cloud, this role offers a development pathway for an experienced IT Engineer to become a Platform and DevOps Engineer. The position is ideal for someone technically skilled and eager to expand into software deployment, cloud infrastructure and automation. The candidate will contribute to the Azure Infrastructure Management, develop pipelines, improve monitoring and security operations, and work closely with the development teams to ensure reliable software delivery and operational excellence.
You will gain hands-on experience working alongside the existing Platform Engineering team, Head of Architecture and Platform Engineering , Chief Digital and Information Officer (CDIO ), Senior DevOps Engineers, Developers and Technology Specialists on key transformation initiatives that that elevate operational efficiency and redefine luxury lifestyle experiences for our customers across our existing and future businesses.

Your responsibilities will include but will not be limited to:
Platform Engineering & Cloud Infrastructure Assist in deploying and configuring tools used in software development, including build servers, version control systems, and automated testing frameworks
Support provisioning, configuration, and lifecycle management of Azure IaaS and PaaS resources
Manage and maintain Azure networking, virtual machines, resource groups, and cloud services
Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions
Monitoring, Alerting & Security Configure and maintain monitoring solutions
Assist in the creation of custom dashboards and alerts for real-time visibility into platform performance
Help integrate monitoring within the ITSM platform for automated incident creation
Participate in access control, vulnerability management, and system security maintenance
DevOps & Automation Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated deployment and testing
Develop scripts and automation tools to streamline administrative and deployment processes
Document infrastructure and deployment procedures to ensure consistency and compliance
Stay current with DevOps best practices and introduce new methods to improve service reliability and delivery speed
Collaboration & Support Work closely with infrastructure, networks, security operations, application support and development teams to troubleshoot infrastructure or deployment issues
Validate, review, and support software code to ensure quality and operability in deployment environments
Provide Tier 2/3 platform support for escalated issues across the Maybourne IT ecosystem (e.g., Oracle PMS, POS, guest services)
Collaborate on support playbooks, system documentation, and technical runbooks
Participate in Production Checklist and go/no go governance to ensure all cloud and platform requirements are met
Governance, Reporting & Documentation
Create documentation and support maintenance of accurate and up-to-date documentation including cloud architecture, platform processes, risk logs, action trackers, and monitoring dashboards.
Support regular reporting to the CDIO and senior leadership on project status, performance metrics, and overall platform development progress.
Contribute to the evolution of internal Platform & DevOps frameworks and best practices.

Successful candidates for our Platform & Development Operations Engineer opportunity will be:
Proven track record in IT support or service desk operations with exposure to ticketing systems, SLAs and incident resolution
Familiarity with Microsoft Azure and common cloud services including VMs, storage and virtual networking
Basic understanding of DevOps tooling including version control, CI/CD processes and tools and build/test pipelines
Scripting experience and the ability to automate routine tasks
Knowledge of monitoring frameworks and observability concepts and tooling
A collaborative mindset with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
A positive, can-do attitude with an eagerness to learn and develop professionally within a digital or project-focused career path.
Strong communication and team collaboration capabilities
Exceptional organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
