The Position

Joining ourDeployment Automationteam, you will be a Platform Engineer with experience working in a cloud environmentwithPython (or similar). You’ll be working in an internal development team focusing on improving our developer services and tooling byworking on our infrastructure-as-codetoolchains.

In this role you’ll get to see the benefit that you provide to your customers (our other development teams)on a daily basisand see the positive impact and difference you can make to their working lives.

Our stackincludes:Terraform,Python, AWS,andCI/CD pipelines. We don’t expect experience with all of these - the team will support you in learning and developing your skillset, and FanDuel advocates for continuous learning!

Some of your responsibilities will include:

  • Building and supporting tools/frameworks that automate how development teams managetheir infrastructure through code
  • Creating and promoting best practices generally in your role, but specifically around managinginfrastructure through code
  • Followingbest practices to create high quality code
  • Be a team player, reflecting FanDuel values everyday

What We’re Looking For

  • Experience inscripting or servicedevelopment (ideally Python)
  • Experience withinfrastructure-as-code implementations and best practices
  • Experience contributing toCI/CD tooling and processes
  • Experience building cloud-based solutions and configurations(ideallywithAWS)
  • Keen to learn and work with new technologies
  • Ability to build relationships with colleagues across the company

  • Technical Paired Programming Exercise (Python) - 60mins
  • Technical competency conversation – 60 min
