Senior Platform Engineer

Location: London (hybrid, 3 days onsite)

Salary: Up to £72,000 + Bonus

Clearance Requirement: Candidates must be eligible for UK DV clearance

We are seeking an experienced Senior Platform Engineer to join a high-impact team delivering mission-critical projects. You will work on secure, cutting-edge solutions that make a tangible difference, alongside some of the brightest minds in technology.

Technical Expertise

Core tech stack: Terraform, AWS (preferred), Azure, CI/CD

You will also bring experience in:

• 5+ years experience in platform engineering
• Programming in one or more languages: JavaScript, Java, .Net, Python
• Experience mentoring, coaching or managing others in the team
• Designing and building Proof of Concept and Production systems collaboratively
• Source control (e.g. Git, Mercurial, Perforce)
• CI/CD tools (e.g. Bamboo, Jenkins, TeamCity, Bitbucket)
• Automated testing frameworks and static code analysis tools (e.g. SonarQube)
• Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, Lean)

Desirable Skills

• Cloud platforms: AWS, Azure
• Containerisation: Docker, Kubernetes
• Machine Learning frameworks (AWS/Azure ML, TensorFlow)
• Relational, document, or graph databases
• Configuration management and deployment (Ansible)
