Senior Platform Engineer | Outside IR35 | Hybrid - London We are looking for an experienced Senior Platform Engineer to join a scaling technology organisation on a contract basis. This role sits within their core engineering foundations team, focused on building reliable, scalable infrastructure and improving the developer experience across the wider engineering function. The contract
Up to £550 per day Hybrid working: 3 days per week onsite in London, 2 days remote Initial term of 3-6 months with strong likelihood of extension What you’ll be working on
Designing and maintaining cloud infrastructure (AWS) to support scale and reliability Building automation and tooling to accelerate developer workflows Enhancing observability, monitoring and security of distributed systems Introducing best practices in deployment, scalability and developer productivity Experimenting with AI-driven approaches to reduce friction in engineering workflows The environment
AWS as the core cloud platform Programming in Python, Typescript, and Elixir Focus on automation, observability, distributed systems, and developer productivity What we’re looking for
Strong background in platform or infrastructure engineering, with experience scaling systems in production Proficiency with AWS and infrastructure automation Experience building or maintaining developer tooling and pipelines Understanding of observability, monitoring, and distributed system challenges Collaborative approach with good communication skills Interested, or know someone who would be?
