We are looking for a Plumbing & Heating Shift Engineer who wants to work in a diverse role where no two days are the same. As the Plumbing & Heating Shift Engineer, you will provide the delivery of both planned and reactive FM maintenance services. The Plumbing & Heating Shift Engineer will be responsible for: * Perform routine and reactive maintenance on mechanical and plumbing systems, including boilers, pumps, pipework, valves, and associated equipment. * Install, repair, and service mechanical and plumbing components in accordance with specifications and technical drawings. * Identify and diagnose faults using diagnostic tools and work from technical manuals. * Conduct preventative maintenance to ensure system reliability and efficiency. * Ensure all work complies with current health, safety, and environmental legislation. * Maintain accurate records of work completed, including inspections, repairs, and installations. * Assist in the planning and execution of planned maintenance schedules. * Work collaboratively with team members and liaise with clients to ensure customer satisfaction. * Support on-site commissioning and testing of mechanical and plumbing systems. * Expected to join a 1 in 4 call out rota. To be successful for this Plumbing & Heating Shift Engineer role you must have: * NVQ Level 2 in Plumbing or a Mechanical discipline. * Proven experience in mechanical and plumbing maintenance within commercial or industrial environments. * Strong knowledge of current health and safety legislation and best practices. * Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and manuals. * Familiarity with diagnostic and testing equipment. * Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. * Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team. * Full UK driving license is preferred. * Self-motivated with a proactive approach to work and continuous improvement.
