My client is looking for a power electronics design engineer to work on a naval programme, the role will involve Design and develop power electronic circuits, including DC-DC converters, AC-DC rectifiers, inverters, and motor drives. Apply industry best practices to design high-efficiency, compact, and reliable power systems, ensuring they meet performance, safety, and cost targets. Perform component selection for power electronic circuits, balancing technical and commercial constraints. Demonstrated experience in the design and modelling of power electronic systems such as inverters, converters, or motor drives. Strong background in system-level design and circuit analysis. Proven ability to work with MATLAB, Simulink, and LTSpice for modelling and simulation of power electronics circuits.
