Power Electronics Engineer

Location:

Nottingham (Hybrid - primarily on-site)

Salary:

£50,000 - £75,000 (DOE)

Job Description:

We are working with a key electronics client pioneering a new generation of AC drive technology - the matrix converter, a direct AC-to-AC conversion system set to disrupt the industrial drives market.

The client has over 35 years of trusted experience in DC drives and is now expanding into innovative AC drive solutions.

Responsibilities:

1. Design and develop power electronic circuits and systems.
2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate new technologies.
3. Test and validate power electronic components and systems.
4. Stay updated with the latest advancements in power electronics.

Qualifications:

1. Degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Electronics, or related field.
2. Experience with AC/DC converters, inverters, or similar systems.
3. Knowledge of control systems and embedded software is a plus.
4. EU work permit required.
