Role

We are looking to recruit a Power systems studies engineer for a 12-month contract, based in Leatherhead, Surrey.

Responsibilities

  • Power systems studies for onshore and offshore projects.
  • Study types include local power, renewable power including BESS or grid connections at voltages up to 220kV.
  • Equipment sizing, load flow, short circuit, dynamic motor starting, harmonic studies, arc flash, transient stability, protection co-ordination.
  • Run power system studies and oversee third party vendors providing power system studies for projects.
  • Intermediate experience using ETAP software.
  • Work with multi discipline project team and deal with client and KBR stakeholders.

Qualifications

  • University degree in relevant subject matter.
