Overview

Sales Engineer (presales network engineer). We’re looking for an experienced Sales Engineer to join a growing team in London, supporting presales, solution consultants, and sales teams across a wide range of solution designs. The focus will be on networks, SD-WAN, SASE, and cyber security, with opportunities to expand expertise across other IT solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Support presales, solution consultants, and sales teams across a wide range of solution designs with a focus on networks, SD-WAN, SASE, and cyber security.
  • Act as a trusted advisor from the early stages of the sales cycle—qualifying opportunities, crafting innovative solution designs, and ensuring proposals are technically robust and commercially compelling.
  • Present solutions to customers, deliver product demonstrations, and remain a key point of contact throughout the solution lifecycle.

Qualifications and skills

  • Solid understanding of networking principles and protocols (TCP/IP, OSPF, BGP, VRRP, firewalls, IPSec, SIEM, wireless).
  • Experience in at least two key solution areas such as networks, cloud, security, or unified communications.
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Familiarity with SD-WAN and SASE technologies, cloud architectures; relevant certifications would be advantageous.
  • Energetic, commercially aware, and eager to become a subject-matter expert; able to communicate with both technical and non-technical audiences.

Additional information

Hybrid role with 2 or 3 days a week in the London office.
