We’re seeking a future team member for the role of Vice President, Pre-Sales Engineer to join our Data and Analytics team, the fintech arm of BNY. This role will focus on the software solutions of Eagle Accounting, Performance, and Data Management, P-Control for Milestone, as well as Data Vault, our public cloud solution. The role is located in London (hybrid).

In this role, you’ll make an impact in the following ways:

Responsibilities

• The Sales Engineer is responsible for conducting informative product demonstrations and presentations for potential customers within the EMEA region, showcasing the features, functions, and value propositions for the D&A suite of products.
• Complete incoming Request for Information (RFI) and Request for Proposal (RFP) documentation.
• Lead the development and execution of proof of concept (PoC) projects to demonstrate feasibility and effectiveness of our software solutions in addressing customer challenges, including loading sample data, identifying business requirements, and presenting solutions to prospective clients.

Qualifications

• Experience in a sales engineering, technical sales, or similar role within the software/financial services industry.
• Experience with Financial Software solutions is preferred.
• Experience with cloud platforms and technologies (e.g., AWS, Azure, Snowflake).
• Strong SQL skills; Python is a plus.
• Ability to work as part of a team is mandatory.
• BS/BA degree.
• Extensive travel normally required.
• Excellent oral, written and presentation skills. Prior public speaking or presentation experience is preferred.
