What you’ll do

  • Report directly to the senior electrical engineer and be responsible for the reliability of electrical systems in the BB/BLC/Mill areas.
  • Ensure that agreed reliability, AM/PM plans and strategies are effectively undertaken and delivered, liaising with Production, Quality, Operations and Contractors.
  • Support the maintenance planning team with all maintenance days, ensuring best decisions are made regarding site critical assets.
  • Spend a significant portion of your role ensuring PM tasks are completed safely and closed out to a high standard, on time, and contribute to regular shutdowns within the BB/BLC/Mill areas alongside the Maintenance Team Engineer and the Maintenance Operations Manager.
  • Investigate CBM and OTR findings outside of shutdowns and PM tasks and work with the Senior Electrical Engineer to plan these tasks to optimise shutdown effectiveness.

What you’ll bring

  • Experience with CMMS systems (e.g., SAP, E-Maint).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and diagrams.
  • Hands-on experience with PLC & VSD systems/equipment (e.g., Allen Bradley, Siemens, Mitsubishi).
  • Previous experience in an FMCG maintenance department.
  • Involvement in Root Cause Analysis (RCA) processes and strong problem-solving skills.
  • Experience collaborating with stakeholders across various departments and solid process knowledge.
  • Degree-level qualification preferred (engineering, electrical, or a combination of mechanical and electrical) or NVQ Level 3 or equivalent.
