In this role, you'll work closely with our controller to ensure our equipment is always operational and ready for our customers. Your expertise will help us deliver timely and efficient maintenance services, while also promoting safety for yourself and our clients.
Position Overview
As a Preventative Maintenance Engineer, you will:
- Maximize equipment availability through routine and preventative maintenance.
- Identify potential issues that could impact performance.
- Carry out minor repairs as needed.

Your Key Responsibilities
- Preventative Maintenance Servicing: Conduct routine servicing in line with manufacturer guidelines (75% of your time).
- Machine Inspection: Perform visual and mechanical analyses to identify developing issues (20% of your time).
- Minor Repairs: Complete minor repairs and install telematic systems (5% of your time).

Working Conditions
This is a field-based role, and you will need to have held a full driving license for at least 2 years. Your working hours will be 43 hours per week , with flexible start and finish times. The working pattern is Monday to Friday, with one Saturday every three weeks at an overtime rate.
What We’re Looking For
To thrive in this role, you should have:
- A basic knowledge of engines, hydraulics, powertrains, and vehicle electrics/electronics.
- Experience in a related engineering function (around 3 years) or a formal apprenticeship qualification.
- Health & Safety training is desirable but not essential, as we provide further training.
