Principal / Associate Electrical Engineer - MEP Team

Stantec is seeking a Principal or Associate level engineer to join our dynamic and growing MEP team in Manchester. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a team that's not just passionate about engineering but also about creating a positive and collaborative work environment.

Our MEP team in Manchester is at the forefront of sustainable and high-performance building design. We don't just engineer buildings; we bring them to life. With a strong track record of successful projects across the North of England, our team tackles a diverse range of sectors, from commercial and residential to industrial and leisure.

As a key member of our MEP leadership team, you will lead and mentor the electrical engineering discipline, overseeing multidisciplinary projects from start to finish. You'll manage client relationships, ensuring project success and a consistent pipeline of new work.

This role also involves taking ownership of commercial performance, including fee negotiation and project profitability, while acting as a role model for the team by championing quality and ensuring all projects meet our high standards.

About You

  • Experience in team management, including recruitment, performance, and development.
  • A knack for business development, with the ability to win new work and manage commercial responsibilities.
  • Proficiency with BIM processes, including Revit and IES/Amtech.

If you don't meet all the criteria but are a motivated engineer looking for your next challenge, we encourage you to apply.
