We are looking to appoint a Principal Building Services Engineer (Electrical) based in any of our 13 UK offices.

We are seeking a commercial, forward-thinking, and solution-focused Principal Electrical Engineer to join our Building Services team in Bristol. You will deliver exceptional technical and commercial solutions to clients across the private and public sectors, including education, defence, healthcare, pharmaceutical, and commercial sectors.

Core Responsibilities

• Leading the delivery of portfolios of work across both private and public sectors
• Liaising directly with clients and contractors
• Performing building analysis and providing system design calculations

About You

Our ideal Principal Building Services Engineer (Electrical) will have:

• HND/Degree or equivalent professional qualification
• Knowledge and understanding of BS7671
• Knowledge of H&S/CDM requirements and current legislation, e.g., UK Building Regulations
• Familiarity with electrical and lighting design software such as Hevacomp, Amtech, Dialux
• Excellent communication skills, collaborative and self-motivated
• Structured wiring system and security system design experience
• Knowledge of construction industry design processes and procurement arrangements
• Resource planning and management experience
• Fire alarm and emergency lighting design experience
• Business development experience
