I'm working with a leading multi-disciplinary design consultancy in Central London who are looking to appoint a Principal Civil Design Engineer to join their well-established and growing team.

The Role


As a Principal/Senior Civil Engineer, you'll take the lead on technical design and delivery of civil engineering projects - primarily focused on residential developments.

You will be one of the technical leads in a well established civils team of 6, reporting to the Technical Manager/Director.

You'll be responsible for:

Designing drainage, highways, and earthworks schemes

Overseeing project delivery from concept to construction

Mentoring junior engineers and supporting graduate development

Working closely with internal and external stakeholders to ensure technical excellence

What You'll Need

Proven experience in a similar civil engineering design role

Strong technical capability, particularly in MicroDrainage (essential)

Proficiency in Civil 3D (advantageous)

A clear understanding of UK design standards and approvals processes

Chartered or working towards chartership (ICE preferred)
