We’re looking for a Chartered Engineer (CEng MICE or MIStructE) ready to take the lead on some of the UK’s most technically complex and high-risk infrastructure projects. This is an exciting opportunity to step into an Associate-level leadership position, where you’ll shape design strategies, guide multi-disciplinary teams, and drive business growth.

Your Role Will Include

Acting as technical lead on major and high-risk civil/structural projects
Overseeing entire design teams and coordinating inputs across disciplines
Conducting strategic planning of project delivery, resources, and client engagement
Leading bids, proposals, and business development activity across sectors
Assuming formal leadership roles such as CRE (Contractor's Responsible Engineer)
Supporting or being introduced to commercial responsibilities, including project profitability
Developing and mentoring engineers and technical staff

Requirements

Chartered Engineer (CEng) with IStructE or ICE
Strong background in infrastructure, energy, or rail projects
Proven experience in team leadership, client-facing roles, and cross-discipline coordination
Commercial awareness and ability to contribute to strategic growth initiatives
Familiarity with BIM Level 2 workflows and ISO 19650 compliance is preferred
