The successful candidate will join a growing team, with opportunity to shape the direction of an expanding business to meet the challenges of the AMP8 programme, as well as strategic development for AMP9 and beyond. The Principal Design Engineer (Mechanical) will have a client facing role. An example of some of the responsibilities for the role as the business needs require are as follows:Lead and develop a team of junior engineers, based in multiple locationsLead the mechanical design of water projects, including wastewater treatment, clean water treatment, industrial wastewater treatment, and biosolids treatmentDesign & project management from conceptual phase through to project completion, ensuring all designs are produced to applicable client standardsDevelopment of preliminary and detailed design calculationsDevelopment of design drawings and specificationsDevelopment of conceptual, preliminary, and detailed design reportsBalance of plant designDesign and implementation of energy saving projectsAttend and participate in HAZID/ HAZOP and LOPA studiesThe Principal Design Engineer (Mechanical) will have the opportunity to progress their career within Fingleton White to be involved in the various business sectors to provide experience across a wide range of projects.
