The Role This is a senior technical position within a specialised R&D function. Youll act as a technical authority, leading the design and development of MV/HV cable systems used in offshore wind and hybrid power umbilical applications. The role involves setting and maintaining design rules, technical standards, and documentation, while supporting cross-functional teams and contributing to the companys product innovation and lifecycle management. Key Responsibilities Lead and deliver R&D projects related to MV/HV submarine cables. Develop and maintain cable design rules and technical documentation standards. Perform detailed cable design calculations and liaise with internal and external stakeholders. Provide technical support across the product lifecycle, including risk assessments, specification reviews, and resolution of complex technical queries.
