To prepare policies for and manage, monitor and review the implementation and adoption of third party highway works through Highways and Planning legislation to ensure such works are delivered in accordance with the Council’s policies, objectives and programmes, planning approvals, highway design standards and legal, health and safety, and financial regulations.

Responsibilities

We are looking for a Principal Development Engineer in the Highways Development Control Team. The ideal candidate will have a proven experience in a highways/traffic engineering/transport planning environment, dealing with major and complex proposals involving the implementation and adoption of third party highway works.
