Job Title: Principal EICA Engineer

Location & Hours: Brighton/Home, Hybrid Working, with occasional site visits in the Southeast. Full-time, Monday to Friday, 37 hours a week. We offer a flexible working policy to accommodate personal circumstances.

Job Overview: As a Principal Electrical Engineer, you will join a multidisciplinary team focused on innovative and sustainable water and wastewater solutions. Your role involves developing outline designs for water recycling plants and advanced facilities, evaluating new technologies, and shaping the future of the water industry.

Qualifications:

• MSc/MEng in electrical and electronic engineering or equivalent
• Chartered or Incorporated Engineer status with the IET or equivalent
• Minimum of 10 years’ experience in relevant industry

Skills: Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills; ability to drive innovation; manage complex engineering challenges. Full driving licence required for site visits.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure designs are sustainable and environmentally friendly
• Provide guidance on design calculations and specifications
• Challenge the status quo and promote continuous improvement
• Research and implement industry best practices and digital design concepts
• Collaborate with supply chains to improve efficiency and standards
• Mentor junior engineers and support their professional growth
• Deliver projects within budget by implementing cost-effective solutions
