Principal Electrical Design Engineer London | Hybrid (2 days office / 3 days home) | Up to £75,000

Our client, a boutique building services consultancy is looking for a Principal Electrical Design Engineer to join their London team. They deliver tailored solutions across commercial, residential, industrial, and data centre sectors - and they are looking for someone who thrives in a hands-on, client-facing role.

What you will be doing * Leading electrical design across a wide range of building services projects. * Meeting with clients, understanding their needs, and translating them into practical, efficient designs. * Taking ownership of projects from concept through to delivery. * Supporting and mentoring junior engineers within the team. * Collaborating closely with mechanical engineers and other specialists to provide integrated solutions.

What they are looking for * Proven experience as a senior/principal electrical design engineer within building services. * Strong client-facing skills - you'll be confident presenting, problem-solving, and building trusted relationships. * Ability to lead projects independently while also being a supportive team player. * A background in commercial, residential, industrial, or data centre projects. * Chartered status or working towards chartership (desirable).
