Recruitment Consultant Principally Engineering – Technical Staffing Resources (TSR) are the in-house agency and master vendor for KBR, a leading global engineering, construction, and services company. KBR supports the hydrocarbon and government services markets on six continents, offering challenging assignments on some of the world\'s largest and most complex projects.

We are looking to recruit a Principal Electrical Engineer for a 12-month contract, based in Leatherhead, Surrey.

• Competitive hourly pay rate
• Hybrid working - 3 days in the office, 2 days work from home

Purpose of the Role

The purpose of this energy transition and energy security projects is to develop electrical power system designs required to support the process design.

Core Responsibilities

• Demonstratable experience of designing large industrial power systems is a pre-requisite for the role
• Sizing and selection of high voltage equipment, Large Frequency converters, AC/ DC UPS systems, etc.
• Development of philosophies and specifications
• Ability to complete power system studies / calculations using ETAP
• Review studies produced by others
