Principal Electrical Engineer - London\n\nExcellent opportunity for an Electrical Engineer to step into a Senior position, and play a key part in in the growth of an expanding M&E team within an International, Engineering and Design Consultancy.\n\nLocation: London\n\nSalary: £50,000 - 70,000\n\n+ Package benefits\n\nJob Description:\n\nThe Resolute Group is working in partnership with an International, Engineering and Design Consultancy to assist with expanding their M&E Team who focus on Data Centre Projects.\n\nResponsibilities:\n\nCollaborate with the Lead Engineer and project teams to develop electronic designs for data centre construction projects, ensuring alignment with project requirements and specifications.\nDevelop detailed diagrams of electrical installations and coordinate with other disciplines to allocate initial space reservations for equipment and infrastructure.\nUtilize 3D Revit/BIM software to model electrical installations based on diagrams and coordinated space reservations, ensuring accuracy and compatibility with other building systems.\nAddress any design challenges or modifications during the construction phase, ensuring timely resolution and adherence to project timelines\nActively participate in design reviews and project meetings, providing input and feedback to optimize the efficiency and effectiveness of electrical systems.\nStay updated on industry trends, codes, and regulations related to electrical engineering and data centre construction, incorporating best practices into project designs and processes.\nAssist in the preparation of technical documentation, including drawings, specifications, and reports, to support the construction and commissioning of electrical systems.\nDemonstrate a commitment to safety, quality, and sustainability in all aspects of electrical engineering design and construction. \n\nExperience:\n\nA Bachelor and/or Masters degree in Electrical Engineering\nIdeally 3-5 years relevant work experience within the construction industry\nExperience with Revit / CAD software \n\nPLEASE NOTE\n\nYou need to be living and eligible to work in England to be suitable for this position.\n\nIf you are interested in this position, please feel free to apply through this link or contact Meike Tomlinson via LinkedIn or call The Resolute Group on (phone number removed).\n\nIf this role isn't right for you, please follow The Resolute Group on LinkedIn and view our website for all our latest opportunities.\n\nAll correspondence will be dealt with in the strictest confidence.\n\nThe Resolute Group is committed to a policy of equal opportunities for all prospective professionals.
