Principal Electrical Engineer

We are delighted to be recruiting via our partner and client a Principal Electrical Engineer for their Aramco project for an initial 12 month contract basis (which may be extended). Role is based at our clients offices Monday - Friday in Leatherhead Surrey. The role requires the successful candidate to attend the Leatherhead offices 5 days a week which is non negotiable.
The rate to the worker excluding holiday pay and pension contribution is £50.00 per hour . The role is anticipated to be 12 months possibly longer in duration.
The client will only accept candidates on a PAYE or Umbrella PAYE basis only (no Ltd company) as the role is within IR35.
Typically the required competency and skills would have been built up over a 12 year period working for a consultant engineering company, machinery manufacturer, or end user company.
Candidate requirements are:
Strong gas processing or LNG experience.
Conceptual, pre-FEED, study or FEED experience.
Principal Electrical Engineer with demonstrable experience of designing electrical systems for voltages up to 132kV including overhead lines, reactive power compensation etc for various energy transition projects in FEED and / or EPC. Their experience shall include designs for 132kV electrical distribution systems, interfacing with grid company, protection requirements and brownfield modifications. Knowledge should include Aramco Standards and Grid Code requirements
