An exciting job opportunity has arisen for a Principal Electronics Design Engineer to join this Dynamic Design Consultancy based in Cambridge. Our Cambridge based client develops innovative electromechanical devices from concept to production for multinational companies, in medical, healthcare, consumer, and industrial markets. You will get to work on a wide range of different projects - some lasting several weeks and some lasting a few years. The position of Principal Electronics Design Engineer will be part of the Electronics team whose aim is to develop products that meet \'customer excellence\' standards and improve lives.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities include contributing to the design of electronics systems and firmware for a range of projects, supporting the development from concept to production, and collaborating with a multi-disciplinary team to meet customer excellence standards and improve lives.

Qualifications

  • A degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Software, or Computer Science
  • Experience developing circuitry and control systems
  • Experience in Architecting and writing firmware in one or more of C, C++, Verilog or VHDL
  • Strong team player and collaborator
  • Experience in medical and life sciences sectors is highly desired
  • Experience in a design consultancy is highly desired
