What you’ll\nbe doing
Provide leadership and guidance to the\nAR&M engineering team Provide technical\nexpertise and a\nknowledgeable interface to suppliers and customers on AR&M\nmatters Undertake the evaluation and sign-off\nof the impact of engineering change on support deliverables for\nsystems and equipment Provide oversight of\nAR&M administrative functions to maintain records within the\nSupport Engineering department and to facilitate ILS\nactivities Produce the full range of AR&M\ndeliverables, including the AR&M Case and Case\nReports
Your skills and\nexperiences
Essential
\n Extensive level of domain knowledge over the full range\nof AR&M disciplines and how they relate to ILS and\nSafety Experience of delivering AR&M in\nappropriate phases of the programme lifecycle \n
Knowledge of the complete engineering\nlifecycle Strong awareness of Product\nSafety and SHE Good\ncommunication skills and be able to interact with\nstakeholders Degree level qualification in a\nSTEM subject

Submarine operator/maintainer\nexperience Previous experience within an\nengineering background

The AR&M and Supportability\nTeam
You will join a growing team of 13 individuals based across our\nsites at Brough, Filton and Barrow tasked with AR&M analysis and creating case\nreports against combat systems. This team completes their own AR&M analysis and produces their\nown reports and\ncalculations to ensure the availability targets are being met for\nthe systems of the submarine. There is a lot of collaboration and\nengagement required as part of this role therefore you will have\nthe opportunity to liaise with a range of stakeholders from the\nMOD, Dreadnought Alliance system owners/designers, as well as\nexternal suppliers at design reviews and also the Combat Systems\nsenior managers. Joining this team allows you to influence the\ndesign of the Dreadnought platform from a Combat Systems\nperspective as well mentor and coach new members of the team to\nsupport the capability further. We offer relocation support across\nall Submarines roles, subject to meeting eligibility\ncriteria.
