Responsibilities

  • Provide Telecoms, SCADA, Supervision and Information systems advice and guidance for clients in 'business as usual,' technical refresh and new project environments.
  • Apply Telecoms, SCADA, Supervision and Information systems knowledge, with creative and innovative thinking in a broad range of complex and non-routine contexts.
  • Provide Telecoms, SCADA, Supervision and Information systems requirements and technical specifications for Rail Systems, Stations, and Facilities.
  • Provide support to Migration Planning for new, novel, or complex Infrastructure, Rail Systems and Control Systems.
  • Lead/manage bids and projects related to Telecoms, SCADA, Supervision and Information systems.
  • Support business development and sales activities related to Telecoms, SCADA, Supervision and Information systems.
  • Help to build successful working relationships with team members, key customers and stakeholders that improves the value of the services delivered.
  • Promote and foster a systems culture within the current UK Engineering organisation.
  • Deliver experience of delivering Telecoms, SCADA, Supervision and Information systems consultancy in multi-disciplined industry environments.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, systems engineering, or equivalent field of study, or demonstrated competency to fulfil the role requirements; experience of delivering Telecoms, SCADA, Supervision and Information systems consultancy in multi-disciplined industry environments.
  • Experience of systems Assurance processes.
  • Experience of railway and complex projects environments.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills (active listener, concise writing).
  • Ability to articulate and pitch Telecoms, SCADA, Supervision and Information systems advice at technical and non-technical levels to key customer stakeholders.
  • Ability to work on multiple projects and tasks concurrently, balancing business and client priorities.
  • Ability to deliver high-quality work under pressure to tight deadlines and manage client stakeholder expectations.
  • Ability to work effectively individually and within a team in a multi-discipline, matrix organization.
  • A keen interest in the latest technology with a focus on digital technologies.
  • Flexibility to travel within the UK, Ireland and potentially overseas.
  • Previous significant experience on railway and urban transportation Telecoms, SCADA, Supervision and Information systems at global system and facilities level.
