    Essential:

  • Competency to lead the design and project management of diverse transportation schemes
  • Ability to coordinate with multidisciplinary teams and external consultants to deliver projects on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards
  • UK experience within a public, private or third-sector UK-based client
  • Demonstratable skills and experience in Highway Design to undertake schemes over the full project lifecycle, including budget/finance control 
  • Competency in the use of DMRB, TSRGD, Traffic Signs Manual, Manual for Streets and other local authority standards
  • Knowledge of responsibilities under the CDM Regulations
  • Proficiency in the use of Civil 3D software package
  • Relevant design software experience such as AutoCAD, KeySign & KeyLines where applicable
  • Desirable:

  • Knowledge and experience of signing and lining schemes
  • Knowledge of LTN 1/20
  • A full UK driving licence
  • Educated to BEng / MEng level in a Civil Engineering discipline or equivalent.
  • Be chartered as a member of a recognised institution (ICE, CIHT, etc) or currently working towards chartership.
