We are seeking a Principal ICA Engineer to play a vital role in instrumentation and control/automation engineering on transformational programmes for critical UK infrastructure, including iconic projects domestically and internationally.
Our expertise spans sectors like Water, Aviation, Defence, Energy, Cities & Development, and Education. We provide industry-leading engineering solutions throughout project lifecycles, including client-side support and construction phases. Join our passionate team if you share this industry enthusiasm.
Current opportunities are based in our Manchester office.
Your Purpose:
- Lead a team in technical design following standards and quality benchmarks.
- Prepare briefs, scopes of work, and contribute to bid proposals.
- Manage time and budgets to meet project milestones.
- Collaborate with UK and international teams for integrated design solutions.
- Maintain quality assurance standards in design.
What you can bring:
- Chartered Electrical/Instrumentation Engineer.
- Experience in leading multidisciplinary design delivery.
- Strong knowledge of ICA design, PLC and SCADA systems, motor control, system architecture, fieldbus networks, P&ID’s, ATEX, functional safety, and control specifications within industrial environments.
- Proficiency in digital analysis packages, adhering to standards and best practices.
