Principal Infrastructure Engineer

to join the team in

Wigan, UK . This is a

full-time, permanent

position. RSK LDE Ltd was formed in 2003 after a number of specialist design engineers joined RSK in order to strengthen its existing in-house capabilities. It now has a highly experienced team made up of professional civil and structural engineering staff with many years experience in the assessment, design and construction of major development projects. Responsibilities

Manage, lead, and deliver designs for multiple projects on time and to budget. Agree engineering strategies and ensure these are adhered to. Negotiate technical approval for adoptable works (S104, S38, S278 etc.). Ensure designs comply with current Codes of Practice. Maintain effective communication with design team and other stakeholders. Qualifications and Experience

Working knowledge of: Highway design and ground modelling. Drainage design and hydraulic modelling, including sustainable drainage systems. External works levels design, including Part M. Industry Codes of Practice and Health and Safety legislation. Software package experience: Autocad PDS/XP Site 3D (or similar) Microdrainage Windes/Flow (or similar) Microsoft packages Ideally 5-10 years experience in a similar sector within Consultancy. Educated to degree or HNC level. Salary and Benefits
