Your Role

As a Principal Infrastructure Engineer, you will build and improve infrastructure supporting our retail brokerage and other initiatives, with autonomy to shape solutions.

Responsibilities

• Design scalable, secure, and resilient infrastructure (on-premise, cloud, hybrid)
• Collaborate with software, DevOps, and SRE teams to align infrastructure with application needs
• Establish standards, best practices, and reference architectures
• Optimize infrastructure for performance and cost-efficiency
• Implement Infrastructure as Code using tools like Terraform
• Advise leadership on strategic planning and investments
• Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance

Requirements

• Strong knowledge of Nutanix Hyperconverged Infrastructure (HCI), virtualization, and cloud-native skills
• Experience with hypervisors: AHV (preferred), VMware ESXi, Hyper-V
• Proficiency with VM provisioning, live migration, cloning, snapshots, DR in HCI environments
• Understanding of distributed storage fabric and Nutanix storage pooling
• Automation skills with PowerShell, Python, REST APIs; familiarity with Nutanix APIs and CLI tools
• Ability to troubleshoot complex issues across compute, storage, and network layers
• Strong communication and collaboration skills

Qualifications

Previous experience with Nutanix HCI is essential.
