Responsibilities
Review and improve all aspects of product calibration, including setting up a new lab and gaining ISO17025 accreditation.
Ensure product compliance with international standards (e.g., Safety, EMC) and support approvals for new markets or applications.
Lead on NPI and act as the interface between R&D and manufacturing. Drive improvements in equipment, processes, instructions and training.
Support sub-contracting and outsourcing initiatives where technical and commercial benefits exist.
Maintain ISO9001:2015 UKAS accreditation and drive quality improvements through training, testing, and reporting.
Qualifications
Minimum of a bachelors degree in electronics or electrical engineering.
Experience working within an electronics manufacturing business.
Ideally experience in calibration, product compliance, and technical manufacturing processes.
Ability to demonstrate continuous process improvement and compliance to international standards in the electronics industry, or a closely related industry.
