Hays Building Services are pleased to be assisting a leading consultancy with the recruitment of a Principal Mechanical Design Engineer based in their growing team in Bristol.

Your New Role

You will prepare and manage designs, feasibility studies, reports and contract documents, carry out building analysis, liaise directly with clients and contractors, promote business development as well as supervise a team of engineers and technicians and assist in the management of project resources and costs.

You will be delivering design solutions to a range of clients across the private and public sectors, including education, defence, healthcare, pharmaceutical andmercial.

What You’ll Need To Succeed

You will have significant experience of mechanical building services/HVAC design, hands-on knowledge and understanding of IES, Hevp and AutoCAD as well as excellent design skills across a variety of sectors.

What You’ll Get In Return

This role is being offered with a salary between £55,000 - £65,000 per annum on a permanent contract with excellent benefits and good progression opportunities.
