My Client is recruiting for a Principal Mechanical Engineer in the Water Sector\n\nBring your skills to the mix as a Principal Mechanical Engineer, you'll play a vital role in every aspect of mechanical engineering on Transformational Programmes for critical UK infrastructure with opportunities to work on iconic engineering projects at home and abroad.\n We specialise in all aspects of mechanical engineering, within multiple challenging and engaging sectors such as Water, Aviation, Defence, Energy, Cities & Development and Education. So, we'll trust you with more responsibility faster, supporting your career to the next level.\n Job Purpose:\n\nLead a team to undertake technical design work following relevant design standards and codes, and to high-quality levels.\nPrepare briefs, scopes of work, and input into bid proposals.\nSuccessfully manage time and budgets to key project milestones and programmes.\nWork closely with teams in the UK and overseas to deliver integrated design solutions.\nAdhere to quality assurance standards in design.Experience and Qualifications:\n\nChartered Mechanical Engineer. \nExperience in the Water Sector leading design delivery, including multidisciplinary design. \nThorough knowledge in mechanical equipment, such as pumps, blowers, screens and chemical dosing plant as well as an in-depth understanding of current UK design standards and working practices.
\nStrong understanding of legislation such as CDM and ATEX
