Join us as a Senior / Principal Structural Integrity Safety Case Engineer and play a vital role in assessing risks for our nuclear clients to help achieve our low-carbon energy ambitions, shaping a better future for our planet and its people. This role offers the opportunity to work with one of the industry’s strongest structural integrity safety case teams across key clients.

Your Purpose

In this role, you might lead a team producing engineering substantiation, author a complex safety case, or influence strategic decisions related to nuclear facility design, operation, or decommissioning. You will work with diverse clients, including nuclear generation, Rolls Royce Pressurised Water Reactors, and new build projects like Hinkley Point C and Sizewell C, as well as innovative fusion and SMR markets. You should be eager to lead technical project delivery, solve complex problems, and communicate solutions effectively to stakeholders. Attention to detail and a focus on the bigger picture are essential.

You will also contribute to and learn from the wider technical community within AtkinsRéalis, leveraging global expertise and fostering collaboration. Additionally, you will mentor junior engineers to support growth and capability development, strengthening your leadership skills.
