We are seeking a talented Principal Process Engineer to join our expanding team in London. We are looking for professionals with diverse experience levels to contribute to our dynamic, international global strategy and design consultancy.
As we continue to experience rapid growth, particularly in the Industrial Sector, we are excited to invite passionate individuals to help us shape large-scale, multidisciplinary infrastructure projects, including Data Centres and other cutting-edge facilities. These projects are driven by the core values of integration, optimisation, and standardisation.
As part of our team, you will collaborate closely with architects, engineers, and clients to develop innovative and complex designs. Your experience and expertise will play a pivotal role in driving project success through direct client engagement, fostering collaboration, and delivering efficient, high-quality solutions.

We require a Principal Process Engineer to work on a series of new projects, which include:
- Commercialisation of processes
- Process Intensification of emerging technologies
- Process and facilities change for a number of Blue-chip Life-Science clients
- Exciting research and development projects in the sustainable energy sector
- Pharma, Process and laboratory facilities across the UK and Europe
Our projects span a broad range of sectors and stages, all following Bryden Wood’s company ethos.
Essential requirements
- Chartered Chemical or Bio-Chemical Engineer
- Held position(s) of leadership, or significant responsibility
- Curious free-thinker who is able to lead or work within teams
- Willingness to learn in a dynamic environment
- Well rounded experience across a number of process sectors at all project stages, with a track-record of process project delivery
- Has a passion for developing / mentoring others
- Able to thrive in a dynamic environment
About you
- Able to manage all aspects of process design within multidisciplinary teams
- Well organised/disciplined
- Excellent presentation skills
- Able to liaise / communicate with all strata of a business, both internally and externally
- Able to manage business risk and escalate matters to senior management as well as project-related issues that require escalation with client or contractor representatives
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- A proactive and enthusiastic approach
- A dynamic approach to problem solving
