This team is accountable for shaping enterprise data architecture, enabling high-performance AI-driven workloads, and acting as a technical bridge between engineering and architecture.Your ImpactLead the design and delivery of platform capabilities powering enterprise-scale data processing, AI integration, and developer accelerationPartner with architects and senior engineers to set technical direction and align implementation patterns with long-term strategyApply a product mindset to ensure platform solutions address real customer and business needsDeliver thought leadership and coding excellence across Java, React, Python, and other fit-for-purpose technologiesMentor and elevate engineers across teams through design reviews, pair programming, and sharing best practicesChampion innovation in performance, tooling, and platform features, with an emphasis on enterprise reliability and scalabilityCollaborate across multiple global teams to drive API-first solutions that serve thousands of tenants and tens of thousands of customersBalance fast iteration on ideas with sound engineering practices to avoid technical dead-endsContribute to technical planning, strategy, and retrospectives that shape the future of the platformYour Qualifications12+ years of software engineering experience in enterprise-scale, data-centric, or platform environmentsDeep expertise in distributed data technologies such as Apache Kafka, Flink, and/or PulsarStrong background in event-driven architectures, streaming pipelines, and data lakesHands-on experience with AI/ML production systems, including prompt-based LLM integrationsExpert-level Java development skills, with a polyglot mindset (comfortable in Python, React, or other languages as needed)Proven experience working in multi-team, global environments with strong collaboration and communication skillsTrack record of delivering API-first infrastructures supporting high throughput and enterprise reliabilityKnowledge of hybrid and cloud-agnostic infrastructures and their trade-offsFamiliarity with CI/CD, GitOps, and high-velocity release workflowsExperience balancing speed of iteration with long-term sustainability and qualityPreferred SkillsHave shaped architecture and platform strategy at enterprise scaleAre passionate about mentorship and raising the bar for engineering culture without big egosHave scaled high-throughput, globally distributed systems that support thousands of tenants and tens of thousands of end usersThrive in API-first environments, bringing consistency and reliability across multiple products and teamsCan balance rapid prototyping and fast iteration with long-term sustainability and qualityBring a polyglot mindset, matching the right technology to the challenge rather than defaulting to a single stackEnjoy working across globally distributed teams, embracing asynchronous collaboration and clear communicationOur Commitment to Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Belonging (DEIB)We believe attracting and retaining the best talent and fostering an inclusive culture strengthens our business.
