About You
- Exceptional Structural Engineering knowledge with a deep understanding of key principles embedded in theory and practice, with a proactive approach to problem solving
- Excellent verbal communication. An ability to communicate ideas, and effectively work with both clients and members of the design team
- Experience relevant to UK practice and knowledge of UK design standards, codes of practice and methods of construction.
- Familiarity with structural engineering modelling, analysis, and design software (Tekla Structural Designer, Tedds and STAAD Pro, Revit, Navisworks, BIM360).
- The ability and willingness tosupervise/mentoremployees.
- Chartered membership of ICE or IStructE
- The motivation to undertake relevant CPD and to increase skills and knowledge
- Experience in day-to-day control of resourcing, programming, planning and costs
- Effective team management skills
- Excellent report writing and presentation skills
