What you’ll be\ndoing:

\n

Generate systems models such as functional, logical\nand interface models for 12+ major C&I systems including\nDistributed Control Systems, Control Console and Vehicle Control\nSystems

\n

Work\nclosely with the system owners providing dynamic challenge on the\nsystems design, to drive simplification within the\ndesign

\n

Support the wider C&I design for several\nC&I sub-systems for Secondary Propulsion, Platform Mechanical\nand Platform\nElectrical

\n

Manage various systems modelling/engineering\nstakeholders to provide consistency across the Centralised C&I\nteam

\n

Support the development of a functional design for\nthe systems within scope for Centralised\nC&I

\n

Deliver the response to the engineering delivery\nplan, ensuring that the plan is delivered to\nschedule

\n

Your skills and\nexperiences:

\n

Essentials:

\n

Degree\nqualified

\n

C&I domain working\nexperience

\n

Demonstrable experience in working with\nmulti-discipline\nteams

\n

Experience of requirements management for similar\nregulated industries such as defence, Oil and Gas, and\nNuclear

\n

Desirable:

\n

Proven use of Systems Engineering toolsets such as\nCAMEO, Enterprise Architect and\nDOORs

\n

Comparable experience in C&I design across the\nlifecycle, specifically early-stage\ndesign

\n

Experience within regulated industry such as\nDefence, Oil and Gas and\nNuclear

\n

The Centralised C&I Team:\n

You\nwill contribute to defining and shaping the Command and Information\n(C&I) design for the Royal Navy’s next- attack\nsubmarines. Your role will involve supporting the development of\nsystems from initial concept through to final design. In this\nposition, you will collaborate closely with internal teams,\nexternal stakeholders, international partners, and suppliers to\nensure the successful delivery of this critical project. We offer\nrelocation support packages across all Submarines roles, subject to\nmeeting eligibility\ncriteria.
