This is a key leadership role with the opportunity to influence major projects and mentor the next generation of engineering talent.ResponsibilitiesLead technical work in the design, manufacturing, specification, testing, and application of power transformers (including grid, auxiliary, HVDC, reactor, and more).Serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for transformer-related engineering matters — including design reviews, failure investigations, and performance assessments.Develop, maintain, and own technical standards, specifications, and guidance related to transformers, wound plant, and auxiliary systems.Mentor and lead engineering teams, ensuring quality, compliance with standards, and application of technical best practices.Contribute to project planning, cost estimation, and risk management, ensuring technical feasibility and execution oversight.What We\'re Looking ForDegree in Electrical Engineering or a closely related discipline.5+ years of experience in transformer design and/or manufacture, specifically involving high-voltage equipment.Proven ability to lead and mentor technical teams.Strong verbal and written communication, planning, and organisational skills.This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to make a real impact within a highly specialised field.
