If being a part of a team with a passion for this industry is for you then we would love to talk to you.We currently have opportunities in our Epsom office.Your PurposeLead a team to undertake technical design work following relevant design standards and codes, and to high-quality levels.Prepare briefs, scopes of work, and input into bid proposals.Successfully manage time and budgets to key project milestones and programmes.Work closely with teams in the UK and overseas to deliver integrated design solutions.Adhere to quality assurance standards in design.What you can bringChartered Chemical / Process Engineer (preferably IChemE or CIWEM).Experience in leading design delivery, including multidisciplinary design.Fundamental understanding and experience of integrated waste-water and bioresources treatment process.Design and/or operational experience of main process unit operations: primary / secondary / tertiary treatment, bioresource treatment and disposal, odour and energy management.Experience of process safety techniques (HAZOP / DSEAR), capital and operational costs assessments, whole life carbon assessments as well as knowledge of UK environmental regulations.Awareness of process modelling techniques and software, e.g. BioWIn, SUMO.Why work for AtkinsRéalis?We're ranked as one of LinkedIn's Top 25 Companies, where UK professionals want to work and stay once they join.
