OverviewWe are looking for a Principal Water Networks Engineer to join a multidisciplinary engineering design consultancy specialising in market leading design, implementation and support solutions for the water and wastewater industry. As a senior member of the team you would drive the technical direction of projects, manage the design process from conception to completion and oversee delivery of high-quality network solutions.The RoleWith a strong combination of technical expertise, leadership skills and water industry knowledge you would lead the design, planning, and optimisation of water and wastewater network systems, ensuring they meet client requirements, industry standards, and regulatory guidelines.Technical specifications: develop detailed technical specifications and oversee the production of engineering documentation for network infrastructure projectsProvide expert advice and technical leadership on complex network design issuesCollaborate with project managers, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery on time and within budgetConduct feasibility studies and risk assessments for network upgrades or new installationsMentor and guide junior engineers, supporting professional development within the engineering teamEnsure compliance with HSE regulations throughout all stages of the design and implementation processThe CandidateSignificant experience in the design and delivery of water and wastewater network systems is essential, with a strong understanding of hydraulic modelling, system analysis, and infrastructure planning.
