Job Description:
We have an opportunity for a Principal/Associate Electrical Engineer to join an award-winning engineering consultancy.
This role involves working with a team of engineers, designers, and specialists to provide innovative solutions for building projects. Responsibilities include client interaction, reporting, specifications, overseeing testing, and delivering a range of MEP, environmental, and sustainability services.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Managing a portfolio of UK and international projects.
- Providing technical advice on electrical and mechanical services in existing buildings.
- Preparing fee proposals and delivering refurbishment projects.
- Conducting condition surveys and developing design specifications.
- Ensuring compliance with UK and EU regulations.
- Leading electrical services design on large projects and overseeing MEP on smaller projects.
- Managing client relationships and project teams.
What We Are Looking For:
- Strong technical knowledge in Electrical Design Engineering and Building Services Engineering.
- Experience with standards, wiring regulations, and fire detection systems.
- Ability to perform building services surveys and peer reviews.
- Experience with various project stages and regulatory documentation.
- Chartered status or close to achieving it.
