Overview

Aerospace engineering firm Martin-Baker is the world’s leading manufacturer of ejection seats, protecting aircrew in the world’s most advanced military aircraft. Join us in the Systems Engineering Department as we seek Systems Engineers at a range of levels to join us as soon as possible, working within the Pyrotechnics Integrated Project Team. You will be responsible for a wide range of analytical engineering from project inception, through development and production, maintaining system requirements, conducting in-depth analyses and supporting system verification.

You’ll help us listen to customers, assist them in understanding how they can best deploy our product, and be an expert voice representing our business. We’re after people who are curious and who enjoy solving problems.

Responsibilities

• Analyse and manage system requirements for pyrotechnics projects from inception through production.
• Work within the Pyrotechnics Integrated Project Team to perform analyses and verification activities.
• Collaborate with customers to capture needs and communicate how to deploy our product effectively.
• Ensure engineering work meets high standards of quality and safety.

Skills & Qualifications

• Know how to listen and communicate effectively with others
• Understanding of Systems Engineering principles
• Methodical problem solver

Education

• 2:1 or above degree in an appropriate engineering/science-based discipline
