Job Description:

My client is a future technologies manufacturer, developer, and the largest producer of Hydrogen in the UK. They work with major green energy developers to deliver renewable, zero-emission energy to commercial markets. Due to growth, they seek a Senior Electrical Engineer for their hydrogen production facilities in Nottinghamshire.

Duties:

• Develop and review electrical and project documentation, including Cable Calculations, Load Lists, Lighting Calculations, Diagrams, Datasheets, and Specifications.
• Design packages for electrical systems and equipment, including drawings, scope, calculations, and cost estimates.
• Ensure electrical systems are safe, reliable, cost-effective, and compliant with standards.
• Compile technical files for certification.
• Liaise with clients, vendors, and project teams, providing technical solutions and site surveys.
• Review and respond to technical queries and provide technical supervision.
• Work within deadlines, report progress, and manage scope changes.
• Support cost estimates and participate in engineering standards and safety considerations.

Qualifications:

• First class Bachelor's degree in electrical/electronic engineering, preferably Chartered (IET/IEEE).
• Significant experience in electrical engineering within process systems.
• Understanding of engineering principles, technical drawings, and standards (IEEE, IEC, ANSI).
• Experience with Autodesk products, OEM software, and designing ATEX installations is desirable.
• Strong project leadership, organizational skills, and adaptability.
