Role Overview

As a Principle Software Engineer at Aparito, you will be a hands-on technologist working across all parts of the Atom5 platform. You will work in an agile manner, developing features as per sprint priority plans and helping to increase overall team velocity. You will be part of a collaborative team, sharing and reviewing ideas, mentoring and guiding team members through technology architecture and implementation details.

Key Responsibilities

  • Leverage your comprehensive expertise across frontend, backend, databases, and DevOps to optimize our systems and resolve complex technical challenges at all levels, by writing clean code, taking pride in your work and value simplicity, testing and productivity as part of your daily routine, always putting user experience first
  • Take ownership of end-to-end product development, making critical technical decisions that ensure our platforms are scalable, performant, and maintainable across the entire stack
  • Tackle our most complex technical challenges, debug critical production issues, and implement sophisticated solutions while carefully considering business impact
  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to our development team, helping establish best practices and guiding architectural decisions while fostering a collaborative learning environment
  • Embrace new languages and frameworks, containers and cloud, and not be afraid to dig deep and learn new things all the time
  • Collaborate with other leam, technical and business/product leadership to ensure best quality of the product that delights the users

The Skills

  • Proficiency, expertise and productivity in at least two of Java, NodeJS, ReactJS or React-Native with 10+ years of experience
  • Demonstrable understanding of best practices in software engineering, including testing and continuous integration and working in high performing teams
  • Good understanding of the AI space and practices in modern software development
  • Familiarity with Linux environment
  • Understanding of dev-ops practices and containers in cloud environments
  • Understanding of SQL databases is highly desirable.
