Due to continued growth and success, they’re seeking an experienced Field Service Engineer to join their service team.\n\nIn this role, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of the companies catalogue of print on demand equipment, primarily toner-based presses, ensuring optimal performance and customer satisfaction alongside managing service agents and acting as a point of escalation within the department.\nThe role involves extensive travel and will see this person cover the South of England and occasionally further afield based on workload.\n\nThe Role\n\nInstall, maintain, and repair a range of equipment, primarily toner-based production print equipment\nAct as a general point of escalation within the department\nDiagnose and troubleshoot technical issues, providing timely and effective solutions\nMonitor remote reporting software, pre-empting breakdowns and arranging maintenance proactively\nProvide on-site technical support and training to customers\nMaintain accurate records of service activities, including job reports and inventory management\nCollaborate with the technical support service agents and other team members to escalate and resolve complex issues\nStay updated with the latest technological advancements and product updates.\nThe Person\n\nProven experience as a Field Service Engineer or similar within the digital printing industry within another capital equipment business, ideally with experience of toner-based equipment such as Xerox Iridesse, Xerox Versant, Canon imagePRESS, Konica Minolta AccurioPress, Ricoh Pro Series, HP Indigo 7800/12000, Sharp Pro Series or similar\nHNC in Mechanics or Electrical Engineering, or experience based equivalent\nStrong technical and electro-mechanical fault-finding skills\nExcellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail\nOutstanding customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively\nAbility to work independently and manage a flexible schedule\nValid driving licence and willingness to travel.\nSalary & Benefits\nAn industry competitive salary plus package including car/car allowance, 10% bonus, private health, life assurance, enhanced pension contributions, and more, is on offer for this hire.\n\nThis role is an urgent hire, please get in touch for immediate consideration
