Location: Harwell Campus, Oxfordshire (OX11 0RL) - 3 days per week on-site and occasional international travel for customer visits and conferences
Working Hours: 9am-5:30pm Monday to Friday with flexibility

Main Duties & Responsibilities
- Analysing customer samples in the lab to create datasets for model development
- Building chemometric models to demonstrate the IRmadillo’s capabilities
- Working directly with customers to implement and troubleshoot models
- Supporting the sales team by explaining spectroscopy and understanding customer chemistry
- Helping customers integrate spectrometers with their plant control systems
What You’ll Need to Succeed
- A degree in chemistry, chemical engineering, or a related field
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to spot trends or issues in data
- A proactive, flexible attitude and willingness to learn and contribute across the team
- Awareness of the chemical and biotech industries
- Interest or basic understanding of chemometrics (don’t worry—we’ll help you learn!)
- Practical experience with spectroscopy, analytical chemistry, or chemical processes (e.g., through coursework, projects, or internships)
