Process Engineer Opportunity, Deeside.
We’re recruiting on behalf of our growing client who are seeking a Process Engineer to join their team on a permanent, full time basis. This role is to take ownership of developing and optimising precision manufacturing processes across machining, welding, electropolishing, pinking, and engraving. You’ll play a key role in driving efficiency, quality, and reliability—acting as the go-to technical expert on the shop floor. This is a hands-on role where you’ll lead process improvements, problem-solving, and innovation in a fast-paced, high-quality manufacturing environment.
About the Role

* Location: Deeside, office based
* Salary: Up to £50K per annum

What You’ll Do
*
Develop and refine processes for CNC machining, welding, surface finishing, and engraving.
*
Design and improve tooling, fixtures, and jigs to boost consistency and operator efficiency.
*
Support new technology and equipment integration, from specification through commissioning.
*
Lead investigations into process issues, applying root cause analysis and corrective actions.
*
Ensure compliance with quality standards and regulatory requirements.
*
Create and maintain robust process documentation and operator training materials.
*
Champion continuous improvement through Lean methods, Kaizen, and cross-functional projects.
What You’ll Bring
*
3+ years’ process engineering experience in precision or metal-based manufacturing.
*
Strong knowledge of machining, welding, and surface finishing; exposure to electropolishing and engraving a plus.
*
Proficiency with CAD tools (SolidWorks/AutoCAD/CAM) and manufacturing documentation.
*
Solid understanding of GD&T, SPC, and Lean methodologies.
*
A practical, floor-focused mindset with strong problem-solving ability.
