Process Engineer

The Barnoldswick site produces metal mechanical components for consumer products, and you’ll be central to improving how they’re made.

The Role

This is a role suited to someone with a strong technical grounding and a passion for process improvement and operational effectiveness. You’ll identify opportunities, implement changes, and drive a culture of continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

* Analyse equipment, layouts, workflows and resources to spot efficiency gains.

* Carry out time-and-motion studies and labour utilisation assessments.

* Recommend and implement improvements to layouts, processes or equipment.

* Lead CI initiatives using Lean/Six Sigma tools.

* Facilitate workshops and training to embed improvement culture.

* Build strong relationships across production, engineering, and operations.

* Prepare reports, cost-benefit analyses, and Capex recommendations.

About You

* Degree in Industrial, Manufacturing, or Mechanical Engineering (or similar).

* A foundation in process engineering/operations effectiveness.

* Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with a continuous improvement mindset.

* Good communicator with the ability to influence and build relationships across teams.

* Any experiernce with CAD/CAM would be advantageous
